Steel Wool Spinning - Standing in the Line of Fire on Flickr.

So yesterday was Google+’s One Year Anniversary Photowalk. A group of around 50 of us headed to Davenport Beach to start off this adventure led by the awesome +Barry Blanchard and +Cameron Siguenza. We came to realize quickly that the infamous Crack was all filled up with sand. Maybe 10+ feet of sand. It was very unexpected. A few of us decided to go eat, while we realized everyone else left to go to the Greek in Santa Cruz. So we went to Starbucks instead :) We then headed over to the Greek to see what everyones plans where. As they were still eating we left to go meet the Tripod Police at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Those are always interesting people that love their job! After getting bored of that, we then met back up with the group at some random lighthouse near by, to do some light painting and spinning. We decided not to do the steel wool cause of our location and possible fines. Everyone eventually decided it was past their bed time and headed home. But +Joe Ercoli +Joseph Fanvu +elizabeth hahn +Paul Porter and I headed back to Davenport to spin some steel wool. So after all, some of us still got the wool!
It didn’t end there for me at least. It was coming up on 3am and I knew it was too late or early to go home and to bed, with out trying to hit up the Golden Gate Bridge for some foggy bridge shots at sunrise. Well I got skunked on that :( It was 6:30am by the time I got in bed, but definitely was an interesting night.
