Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary Fireworks on Flickr.Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary Fireworks Another shot from last nights festivities. I shoot the Golden Gate on a weekly basis, but last night defined them all. They closed the bridge at 9:00pm to prepare for the 9:30 fireworks. For such a heavy traffic bridge, it was pretty cool to see no cars on it. Then all of sudden, it went completely dark, no lights and you could barely see the bridge. I got the chills for a minute! Then a Golden Blanket feel from the bottom, and you could here a roar of people cheering, from all over the Bay. I will certainly remember this for quiet some time. One of the coolest firework displays I have ever seen.
